We cultivate a wide range of African indigenous medicinal plants. These are indigenous plants are then harvested, processed and packed on site. Our African indigenous medicinal plants range from trees, bushes and shrubs.
We run a large nursery on site offering African indigenous medicinal plants to individual customers to landscapers and other businesses. We also propagate a wide variety of African indigenous plants for customers.
We process the plant material grown at Edakeni on site, and can also process plant material supplied by customers, subject to minimum order requirements. We follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Our business is jointly owned and run by the community of Edakeni, Enzangakho Consultancy, and Senzokuhle Cooperative. Women from the community work in the business, and the wider community also benefits from a profit share in the business.
Enzangakho was established by Isaac Banda in 1999, and has ten years’ experience of working in local economic development.
During this time the company has worked with a wide range of clients and developed expertise in land care projects in general, and in those associated with the cultivation, processing and distribution of traditional medicines in particular.
Muthi Futhi has launched its own range of African Medicine products for network distribution. If you are interested in signing up as a distributor or want to purchase our products view our products page for more information.
